Christian Correa, CFA, is Chief Investment Officer of Franklin Equity, an investment group formed in 2025 with over $180 billion in assets under management. Franklin Equity spans US, non-US, and global equity strategies across all styles and capitalizations. Mr. Correa is also a portfolio manager on the Franklin Mutual Global Discovery strategy and serves on the Franklin Templeton executive committee, a small group of top leaders responsible for shaping the company's overall strategy.

Since joining Franklin Templeton in 2003, Christian has served as both an analyst and a portfolio manager. In 2020, he became Chief Investment Officer of Franklin Mutual Series after a decade as Director of Research.

Mr. Correa began his career writing enterprise software before transitioning into the financial industry, where he worked as a special situations analyst at Lehman Brothers. He has utilized this in-depth, practical knowledge of the special situations and software spaces throughout his tenure at Franklin. Outside of his work at Franklin Equity, Mr. Correa is involved in not-for-profit organizations that bring educational resources to underserved communities. He actively serves on the boards of Outer Coast in Sitka, Alaska and The All Stars Project of New Jersey.

Mr. Correa’s educational history includes a B.A. in philosophy, politics, and economics from Claremont McKenna College and an M.A. in economics from Northwestern University. He is also a graduate of Harvard Law School and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
