Yulia Hofstede

Yulia Hofstede is a Portfolio Manager on the Global Long-Term Unconstrained team at Franklin Equity Group, and also provides research coverage for the technology sector. Yulia has a diverse experience across multiple cyclical sectors.

Before joining Martin Currie, Ms. Hofstede was a director at BlackRock within their fundamental active equities global team, working on several unconstrained mandates.

She also held positions as an associate at Bank of America/ Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse in London. She began her career in 2008 at Rothschild in Moscow, focusing on mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Hofstede holds a Finance degree (honors) from the Financial University in Moscow. In 2024, she completed the Diversity Project’s Pathway Program (designed to develop future female portfolio managers) and received the “Driven to Learn” award in memory of Suzanne Hutchins. A lifelong learner who values the mind/body connection, she is also a certified yoga instructor.
